Teach your Kids the Importance of Earth Day

Teaching kids about the meaning of Earth Day with the coloring pages was the simplest option for any individual. We as a preschool teacher wanted some activity to be happening on Earth Day. Our motto behind this was that our little toddlers would understand the importance of Earth Day. We planned few activities like planting the saplings around our school, recycling of plastic bottles and Cleaning nearby parks. But, we also wanted to add some activity which kids will enjoy the most and which will leave impact on our student for longer. These young champs enjoy coloring a lot, for them its learning with play.

We thought of online websites which have collection of Earth Day Coloring Pages, which includes sheets which tell about recycling, global warming, trees plantation and lot other. We decided to take give these print outs to kids and ask to color them. Coloring pages can help keep your joy alive and keeping your kid involved in something which is more educational. It is the simplest way to make different concept understandable.

On the Day, We made coloring first activity for them. We took these instant printouts and add crayons, paints, or markers for an instant activity. These theme-based activities will interest kids and make them want to do more. And what’s more, you can watch the kids learn a bunch of new things in the process. Once these kids finished this activity, all the teachers were amazed to see different imaginations and blend of colors, and we also wonder why these champs are called creative genius. We had an Earth Day Wall where all these artwork was hanged. It gave us immense pleasure to start with such event and followed all other planned activities.
